Is Http connection required if iam working in the same system.

Hi everyone,

While setting up server details in spro , there is a column called http connection. In my scnerio I have a single system which is SAP SAP ECC 6.0 kernel relase 721.

I have installed SAP Screen personas and i have configured as per the config guide. And i have also installed all relevant notes. But while running personas in browser , it shows NO SYSTEM AVAILABLE FOR USER. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR IT TEAM

Should i have to create a RFC Destination of current system and specify in http connection in maintain system Or is it not needed ?

Hi Sivaganesh,

RFC destination is used only by the configuration check tool under admin ui (/persos/admin_ui -> Tools -> Configuration Check) and that wont matter for your connection from Personas.

The error you are seeing is because you don't seem to have systems assigned to user. Please go to Personas admin UI (/n/persos/admin_ui -> User Management -> User Maintenance) and select your user and click on manage systems button and assign a system and appropriate role and then click on save button on top. You can refresh the browser window to see the assigned systems (if multiple) or login to the system directly (if only one system).
