Messages Archive and deletion in SAP PI 7.3 Single Stack

Hello

We would need to archive and delete the messages in SAP PI7.3 Single stack.

I had gone through the several blogs and found there is already a default Archive and Delete jobs created in SAP PI7.3 single stack.

But in the log couldnt see the any messages archived or deleted.

can some one please share me on how the archival will be done and how to check the messages if archived.

All, thanks for the reply, but could nt be able to find how to delete the history entries in database from SAP PI 7.31 single stack.

Hello,

We had a similar problem for our AEX and we found that 1st we need to mark the msgs for deletion . And then if you run the job they will be deleted else the job runs without affecting them .

Not clear about "1st we need to mark the msgs for deletion" is that mean we would need have a Default Delete job to delete the archive? can you please elaborate?

There is an option in ABAP stack that "we can delete the history entries for Deleted XML messages" and would need to replicate the same in SAP PI 7.31 single stack.

Can you please let me know how can I do the same?
