What is the original category?

Hi experts,

When I create an incident, I found the "orig. category".

In SP08 SolMan, I had never seen that.

What is the "original category"?

Does anyone have documents or web sites about this?

Hi Takashi,,

We use  the original Category field when we sync our Solman with other solman, If during the synchronization process we want to sync the original Category , we save the old value in "Original Category" .

We are not VAR partner.

Do you have any documents or know web sites described about "Original Category"?

I cannot find them...

ps: You dont need to be VAR to technically allow 2 Solman to sync

In teh field remain the Technical name of the category (INC01_02, etc)
