Will new launchpad apps work in ECC6.0

Hello Friends,

One of the customer is planning to implement Fiori apps and they are ready to go with NW Gateway 7.4 Version, but, their ECC backend system is in ECC 6.0 with no EHP.

I just want to know, if we install latest UI add-ons for Fiori in NW 7.4.

1. Will the apps work without any EHP

2. Once implemented and later if customer plans to implement with EHP 6, what will be the impact.

Hi Srikanth,

All customers use new launchpad and launchpad does not have any dependency with ERP backend.

Fiori apps have backend requirements. Some apps work with ERP 6.0 without EHP and some apps require ERP 6.0 EhP7. You can find backend requirements in the each app page.

Hi Srikanth,

The 6 HCM apps My Leave Requests, Approve Leave Requests, My Timesheet, Approve Timesheet, My Benefits and My Paystubs work with ECC 6.0 on Launchpad.

If customer plans to upgrade to EhP6 later on there is no impact on these apps.
Which other apps are you looking for?
