Hi
Were the checks in LMDB Ok for that system ?
Did the PorcessOverview.html provide further info ?
Installing Sftp addon is fast even with SUM, it does not take days, less than an hour in fact.
I went thought the same operation (SPS + Sftp) on a PI 731 system few months ago.
I did not try to run both in one run, I apply my SP stack and then install Sftp addon with SUM.
You are not supposed to use JSPM anymore, it should not work on a 731...
1589311 - Replacements of outdated tools via SL Toolset
January 2013: The Java Support Package Manager (JSPM) is replaced by the Software Update Manager (SUM) for SAP NetWeaver 7.3 and higher SUM replaces the JSPM for the maintenance of SAP systems based on SAP NetWeaver 7.3 or higher.
Be aware that JSPM is no longer supported in SAP NetWeaver 7.3 and higher releases (applies to all SP Stacks).
Best regards
Thanks for your answer:
- we did it with JSPM, and it seems to work for this ADD-ON installation.
I also know about that sapnote and there are some more sapnotes:
http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1589311 and attachement .pdf
http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1147119
but my question is not answered yet:
is it possible to run a SPS-Update (in NW-7.31 Doublestack-PI-System)
and at the same time installation of additional ADD-ONs (e.g. SFTP) in one SUM-run ?
Hi
I did check in the notes I took when installing Sftp addon and I did it with SUM but without a stack file.
Sftp/Pgp addon is supposed to be an adapter... this is quite different from the classical technical usage on Java stack.
Check if these documents can help
1862280 - SUM: Usage Type 'sap.com/XSS' cannot be found in the mapping
1823232 - Components sap.com/BP_SRM, sap.com/SRMJVTB are not part of any usage type.
Best regards
