Unable to configure SQLAnywhere extenstion in PHP

Former Member

I have installed PHP5, Apache 2.4 and SQLAnywhere 16 on Suse Linux 11 SP3, but I am not able to enable SQLAnywhere extension in php.ini file. It is not showing extension in phpinfo() also.

I am following the instructions from: http://dcx.sybase.com/sa160/en/dbprogramming/php-test-pages.html

One more thing, the current stable version of PHP is 5.5.14, but the latest SQL Anywhere extension that is available is 5.4.8. PHP 5.4.8 is not stable.

Please let me know if somebody can help me.

Thanks!

Nirmal

This document contains better instructions on how to set up and configure the php driver:

Page 5 talks about how to install the driver.
