is it required to use iflows in sap pi 7.3 and 7.4 (Dual Stack)?

Hi Polani,
I dont understand right your question. You can develop your scenario as you did in PI 7.1 version, the iflows are only a new improvement, not mandatory its use.

Present i am using pi 7.0 and 7.1 now we are moving 7.3 and 7.4, i heard iflows. is there any advantage to do by using NWDS software.
why is required to do iflows, we are having IR and ID objects and configuration wizard to develop automatically.
could u tell me what are the differences from 7.1 to 7.4.

iflows are the configuration for ESR eclipse developments (check LI's blog )
The main advantage that i know is the underlying standard notation BPMN usage. The possibility to develop locally and the eclipse tool widely known and so on.

The iflows are not required, We have scenarios with ico objects and they work perfect.

The main change is between PI 7.1 and PI 7.31, 7.4 is a PI 7.31 with some options improved and to run optimally with HANA . You can find some link references in SCM:
