Problem while creating setup package

Hi all,

A week i created a setup package With SP18 0.0 . Everything worked fine..

I download the Sca file for NWMADMIN AND NWMCLIENT and

Today i deployed Patch 0.2 to NWMADMIN and Patch 0.6 to NWMCLIENT .

I am getting these errors..

0050 tc.mobile.admin.bl 170005 20070327 Error while trying to save the download url in setup package

0050 tc.mobile.admin.bl.setup 170005 20070327 Error while trying to create the cab archive for setup package.

0050 tc.mobile.admin.bl.setup 170005 20070327 Error while trying to create a cab file for setup package.

0050 CAB CREATION LOG 170004 20070327 Error: Required file "D:\cabwiz.ddf" not found.

Hi Neha,

It looks like configurations are changed in Visual Admin or the CABWIZ_INSTALLATION property is referring to the wrong place. Please check this settings in visual admin give correct settings.

It should solve the problem.

Thanks for ur reply. I am using the same zip folder you have send me.

http://www.trajectorylabs.com/ppc_cabtools.zip.

Copied the 3 files in a folder D:\cabwiz and then added a \ at the end of the path.

I have tried this 2 times yesterday and again today morning.It is giving me same error..

Hi Neha,

Please remove the slash ('/') at the end of the path. It should work fine without / at the end. I checked this scenario in my local installation.

Hi Prashantha,

I removed / from cabwiz property. SEtup package is getting created but i am getting may warning message like :

0070 CAB CREATION LOG 140429 20070328 Warning: Section [DefaultInstall] key "AddReg" - there are no section entries to process .

0070 CAB CREATION LOG 140429 20070328 Warning: Section [CopyFiles105] has no data

0070 CAB CREATION LOG 140429 20070328 Warning: Section [DestinationDirs] key "CopyFiles107" is not using the string "%InstallDir%"

And when i am trying to install the setup cab file. It says Setup.cab file is not a valid Windows CE setup file

Hi Prashantha,

I could download SDK for Windows Mobile 2003-based Pocket PCs from site http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9996b314-0364-4623-9ede-0b5fbb133652&displa....

Now should i follow the steps given in http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/45/1eb142a174c811e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm

And create a Cabwiz file . Can i do this on my pc and zip the file and send it to basis and copy it on server or this should be done on server itself.
