Idoc CLFMAS for creation of multiple characteristics

Hi all,

In our current MDM ECC interface need to create Material along with its classification on ECC side. Using MATMAS for material & CLFMAS02 for characterstics cretion respectively. This means two IDOCs are getting generated. This is being done thru a custom program as using XML generated file from MDM.

The above scenario is working fine for Material with one characterstics. when want to create for more than one characterstic the characterstics are not getting generated for the new one.

Tried creating multiple segements in CLFMAS but error.

How one can create or update  multiple characterstics for one material.

Hi Anya,

It is more of an ECC side[custom program] challenge to load the characteristics that are populated in segments in PI.

Therefore, my suggestion would be to change your custom program to handle the additional segments and use them to create/update multiple characteristics for the material.
