Hello Experts,

Is there any document explaining the appropriate role management needs to be done in PFCG for various roles in Fiori Development activity? We did check few links like mentioned below, but did not get detailed note on the same.

Just to add: We would like to create some users with specific roles for FIORI Development.

Hi DR,

It depends on activities. Do you have list of activities you want to manage by authorization?

Hello Masa,

The list of activities would be as mentioned below.

1.Able to make any changes to OData services on ECC
2.Able to deploy ,maintain, test the services on NetWeaver gateway
3.Upload the SAP UI5 project to customer landscape/ABAP Server
4.Download the standard FIORI application source code and extend them as per the requirement
5. Ability to add tiles to the FIORI launchpad
6. Ability to use FIORI theme designer and change the existing FIORI application logo or theme

We basically need developers role for n/w gateway and ECC backend only for standard SAP roles.

DR

Hi DR,

Mainly you need to look at 3 areas. If you can not find authorization objects, please use authorization trace ST01.

1. ABAP development

2. Launchpad designer

3. Theme designer
