isInstance=Y doesn’t open the latest instance in SAP BI URL

Hi experts

Does anybody knows something about this issue

We are on BI 4.0 SP9

BI mobile 6.0.3

SAP BI URL always opens the document with live data even when parameter isInstance is set to Y

• Create a webi with eFashion universe report and assign it to category Mobile
• Open eFashion access DB and modify the sales revenue column
• Schedule the report once
• Revert the sales revenue to original state
• Run the webi document on-demand, and verify that data is different from the report instance generated in previous step
• Use SAP BI URL with parameter isInstance=Y to open the latest instance

we have the same Problem. Do you have a work around or another solution?

Hi,

You need to add the following line to the Mobile clientsettings

feature.webi.disable.download.document.and.instance = true

1.- Login to CMC

2.- Go to Applications

3.- Open Sap Business Objects Mobile

4.- Client Settings add the line.

5.- restarts tomcat.

Hi Vives / Martin,

Instead you may want to try using the parameter useInstance with value as 'last' in SAPBI URL.

One more point to note is that after step5 mentioned in your original post, if you refresh and save the WebI document in Launchpad, SAPBI URL on MOBI will still open the document with live data and NOT the instance.
