difference between product planning table and DS planning board

GUI PPT  and DS PB   both serve the same purpose to schedule orders what is the fundamental difference between these both ?  would you please help with clarity..PPT addresses procurement wheres DS doesn't    ..that is my guess ..plz correct me if i am  wrong ??

Hi Rahul.

The DSPB provides a graphical representation of the current planning situation and is more focused on detailed scheduling, though you are also able to create orders from within it.

The PPT has bigger focus on production planning, though you can also execute scheduling functions from within it.

If you want a description of what features each transaction has, it's best to just take look on sap help.
