Hi Krishna,

I don't think we have option to check the user login count in sap.

But in SUIM you can get the last login details of user.

Thanks

Hi Karthik,

Thanks for the quick reply,

For an example, I need to check the user login count for the past 20 days for each user, but in SUIM transaction i didn't find any option in this scenario,i could only see last login details.

Is there any transaction or report to check users login count?

Krishna

Hi Krishna,

Out of the Box , SAP doesn't provide an feature to capture TOTAL NUMBER of LOGONS by the User.

You can find the LAST LOGON DATE and TIME in SAP Table USR02.

For total number of logons , you will have to create a Custom ABAP Program/User Exit which will capture the number of changes for USR02 Field LTIME.

This o/p can give a picture of the number of successfull logons to the System.

I hope that answers your query .

Hi Ashish,

Thanks for the reply,

I had one more query,I had seen many posts which is related to my question,In this scenario what is the purpose of going with SM19(Security Audit) and SM20 Transactions.Even if i activate the security audit, where i can track the users login & what actually it tracks

Hi Krishna ,

Yes you are right.

SM19 Security Audit Log can be used to Capture following : -

   1) Successful and unsuccessful dialog logon attempts

   2) Successful and unsuccessful RFC logon attempts

   3) RFC calls to function modules

   4) Changes to user master records

   5) Successful and unsuccessful transaction starts

   6) Changes to the audit configuration

Although Successful Logon Attempts are recorded , I would not suggest you switch on the Security Audit on a Permenant Basis.

It writes a lot of logs .

So untill you are damn sure you have the space capacity for collection of logs stay away from these logs to be activated on a Permenant Basis.

Hi Ashish,

Information is really helpful,

Now i deactivate the Security Audit Log but,

one more query, where we can check the recorded data like Successful and unsuccessful dialog logon attempts if we active the Security Audit Log.I had done by activating secure audit log but, i don't know how to navigate to check the data.
