STMS sap no rfc authorization for function module rfcping

Hello Guys,

After a Dev and Quality refresh, my productive system ins´t able to communicate in the transport system.

it gives me the error "sap no rfc authorization for function module rfcping" my Transport Domain it´s on my dev system.

I already have did:

RFC generation

TMSADM reset

Checked file authorizations

Testing RFC authorizations on STMS gives me the error...can you help?

Hi Oscar,

please follow below steps to fix the error,

1. you will find RFC_NO_AUTHORITY dump is ST22. please read this dump and identify the object name for which TMSADM user dont have authorization.

2. Go to SU02, and provide profile name s_a.tmsadm and enter.\\

3. Now double click on S_RFC object, from this screen select "Name of RFC to be protected" and click on "Maintain values"

4. here provide the object name as per dump of #step1.

5. save and activate. it will fix your error.

Hi Oscar,

After performing refresh we have to create TMS once again by these steps

1. Delete the tms users TMSADM and TMSSUP from both SM59 and SU01.
2. Delete the TMS configuration completely using DICO tcode in STMS in DEV.
3. In DEV create new TMS configuration in 000 using ddic.

hope this works...

Please check if profile parameter DIR_TRANS is correctly set to /usr/sap/trans.

Hi Oscar

You have to do reconfigure the TMS, Clear all the old settings, since you are refreshed from Prd to Dev & Qty.
