How remove webservice authentication?

Hi Experts!

I would like to provide a PI webservice without authentication, for consumption of a legacy system. By default the PI uses the Basic authentication, I want to disable this. I have the PI version NW 740 SP 7.

Performed the steps described in the link below, but did NOT work.

My question 1: Does not work, because of my PI version?

OR Please, Could someone tell me if there is another way easier to do this? For the PI provide the webservice without any authentication.
