# sign when printing the PO,

Hi All,

When i create a PO, the header text is Populating in a formatted manner in the view of ME23N transaction Header Screen. But when i click the print preview, the Header text is printing with # symbol.

For example: in the header text there is a field called Job Description it contains more than a Page. When we print the Header text, this field is printing in a single paragraph without blank lines and but in the transaction ME23N this field is showing in formatted manner. we are using the Custom form to print the PO.

Can you please guide me how to get rid of # sign.

Hi Vinoth,

Are you getting a # sign at all places where a new line starts in the formatted text? If this is the case then replace # with CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES->CR_LF. This will enable a carriage return and line feed to be inserted in place of # and anything after this would get printed on the next line.
