Not able to create sales order for Material type HIBE

Hello All,

I am trying to create Sales order for Material type. But i am getting an information massage that "sales order cannot be created for operating supplies"

I have Extended the sales view in material material for respective sales order.

Kindly help me out to overcome this issue.

Note: i have attached the screen shot.

Hello Manoj,

Operating supplies are procured externally and required for the manufacture of other products. A material master record of this material type can contain purchasing data, but not sales data.

As Santosh asked you to brief the business process to that the forum can suggest you more alternatives.

Not sure why you want to create a sales order for Material type HIBE

Material type HIBE is not allowed to create sales order. Let me know your business process so that we can suggest you best approach
