Hi,
We are planning our Fiori deployment for our ERP. Our ERP is at release 6.05 but this information:
Installation - Setup of SAP Fiori System Landscape - SAP Library
set as a requirement release 6.07 SPS 04 (EHP 7 and support package 4).
Based on this information, we have 2 questions:
1. Really EHP 7 is a must ?
2. Installing EHP 7 would be as time consuming as if was when we installed EHP 5 ? (we "upgraded" from 6.00 to 6.05 in one pass and it took around 24 hours in the activation process. We used a shadow instance.) Upgrade from EHP 5 to EHP 7 is as complex as upgrade from 6.00 to 6.05 ?
Any hint or help is welcome.
Thanks,
Pedro Restrepo

Hi Pedro,
Which ERP apps you are looking for?
HCM apps work from ECC 6.0 to Ehp7 so if you have EHP5 you can install all the 6 HCM apps.
EHP7 will be required along with the HANA DB for Analytical apps.
Best Regards

Hi Pankaj,
Thanks for your interest.
We have several possible uses for Fiori but our main concern now is minimize downtime.
I know we are working somehow in reverse order (normal sequence is : identify requirement -> identify app -> define deployment) but we want to define first the general aspects involved in the Fiori installation project and after this we will define which apps will be used in a first stage. We will include other apps in a continuous improvement plan.
As I said, our present ERP release is 6.05 (6.0 + EHP 5).
