Cannot start replication from HANA SUDIO...SLT ISSUE

Former Member

Hi,

When trying to replicate/load tables from HANA studio nothing is happening.

I do not get any error messages but the table does not appear in the Data provisioning screen.

I checked RS_ORDER and it has no entries.

Somehow the SLT master job is not responding to the orders issues by HANA studio.

I am not able to understand what is happening here?

Can anyone help?

Regards,

Sidharth Mishra

Hi Sidharth,

Can you see the tables DD02L, DD02T, DD08L in data provisioning window.

If yes what is the status?

All of them are in replication mode(In process).

I am also able to start the loads or replication from LTR tcode in slt server.

But somehow the loads do not start if i trigger from hana studio.

In Development environment, you can insert a row manually to RS_ORDER and see whether table load/replication happens?

Just right click the the table RS_ORDER in your replication schema and choose "Generate - Insert Statement" and give relevant values. If you are not aware of what to fill in, you can refer to my blog "Only Delta Loading using SLT - Know How" for the same.

But do not do this in production environment.

Ok...so do you feel the hana studio data provisioning screen is not able to insert the statements in RS_ORDER table?

Can this situation occur due to authorizations?

In the meanwhile i will try what you said.

Also are you aware of any tables that exist in SLT server where i can go and view the information that exists in RS_ORDER on hana?

I mean when we schedule loads, which table on SLT server stores the information?

I just want to check, is this working for you or not. If yes then we can conclude that there is some problem with placing an insert in RS_ORDER by Data provisioning UI.

Hi Raj,

I figured out that due to authorization issues the UI was not inserting rows in RS table.

Thanks for your help.
