Activity milestone function workflow set up

Hi Experts

Please let me know how to set up workflow for activity milestone.

I would like to trigger a mail before certain days ahead of planned completion date.

Please share if any document detailing this requirement.

Hi,

Go through below direction.

1. Assign a milestone to any activity/& WBSE according to your requirement.

2. Then go to functions tab in Milestone. Select "start workflow task"

3. Set the milestone date, when you reach/ achieve this milestone, trigger the  workflow.

4. Finally in "Change" field put "+" (Status set). Define whether you want to trigger it only once, in "Once" field. Then finally in "Activa" (Activate function) field, chose how want to activate it

Hi,

I am not sure but I think you can create a new user status. Set this status on 5 days or as your desire before planned completion date and based on this status, a workflow mail will trigger. Discuss it with your WF consultant.
