Background jobs failed

MyAll jobs data backup, transport are stopped.

kindly give me solution.

Hello Atif,

please ensure that batch scheduler is running, please check it in the transaction SM61.  Please ensure, that you have free batch work processes. And please execute a consistency check in the transaction SM65   > Goto   > Additional tests, please choose "Consistency check DB tables", execute. If inconsistenies are found please run this check again and choose "Consistency check DB tables" and "Remove Inconsistencies". You should run it, when nothing is executed on the system since locks will be set on several tables.

Dear All,

when i have  check the SM50 my all backgrounds jobs process are on hold, that's the reason my all other background jobs are on waiting , i have clear my hold jobs and all background jobs are process successfully thanks all for your responses.

Hi,

I am suggesting you please check first SM66- Global work process, SM50-Intance work process and sm21,sm12 if you face any issue in the system. it will show you the system health if it is abnormal then go and check the logs and find out the issues.

Hi,

as other tell you, please check SM21 but also check other STCODES such as: SM12, SM13, ST06, DB02, .. and find out what is going on your system.

At OS level, check log files under /usr/sap/PRD/DVEBM*/work

One question, are you running jobs in the standard way or you/your company is using another job scheduling tool such as SAP CPS?

In SM37 search job , once job is diplayed ..select the job and click on the job log button over there.

You will be able to see what errors occurred during the execution of the job.

there is no space issue i have check the folders.

i have send the snapshot of sm37 the jobs are released but not complete.
