cannot change vendor

Hi all,

don't know what is changed but I'm no longer able to change the vendor when creating a new development component.

If I import a configuration and try to create a new development component the field vendor is only grey and not editable and shows only sap.com but should be mycompany.com

What to check ant to change?

Hello Michael,

try to remove the reserved name prefix in the sld to another one. or if you someone else is using this prefix (with sap.com vendor), then try to create a new prefix with vendor mycompany.com.

then restart the developer studio.

Hi Michael,

you have to make sure your Name Server is available - you can check that also by looking at the development configuration you imported - there has to be a servername in the entry "Name Server".
