Solved: SAP Solution Manager on Windows 2012 + SQL Server ...

Hello,

I'm installing SAP Solution Manager 7.1 on Windows 2012 with SQL Server 2012 and the SAP Application is not starting.

The ABAP import was performed without errors but the installation stopped at the Start Instance phase.

SAP MMC shows "disp+work.exe running but not connect to message server" and then the disp+work.exe falls.

I checked and the service user is a local administrator.

I have no antivirus installed on server.

The UAC and Windows Firewall are disabled.

I tried to update the kernel for 721 EXT and did not work.

Can someone help me?

As earlier said this issue could be related with Network and as per recent logs

Please remove # from 127.0.0.1 and add your system IP address and hostname

eg. with 192.168.123.1 as IP and aapdbs as hostname

You've not maintained IP with system hostname under hostfile.As per me you need to maintain entry

I can see one big problem here. That is your hostname. I believe on windows you cannot exceed more than 13 characters for SAP to run.

Also, you should download sapntchk

You should have used a virtual name less than 13 characters for the installation. That Address and it's IP address should be used every where, even in your profiles.

I checked the trace files in the SCS work directory and I found a error only in the dev_enqio_0. But I could not get a solution.

Add this in your host file

127.0.0.1 localhost

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx hostname -" current IP and hostanme"

P=127.0.0.1:59056; L=127.0.0.1:3201 - here your P and L type should not be loopback address, they should be network address.

Use niping -v for address resolution.
