.xslx format in SAP PI

i want know whether SAP PI 7.31 will support for .xslx file. i configured in SFTP adapter.

Hi,

For reading an excel out of SFTP adapter, you need to develop custom modules as the excel files are not directly read by the SFTP adapter.

Hi Manigandan,

File or SFTP adapter support all the kind of binaies files. If you want to interpret the data inside, you can check this Michal's blog

Yeah you are right i used xsl mapping to convert xml into excel . When i configured file extension as .xslx the file is unable to open in excel, if i configured as .xsl it is opening.

please suggest ..

Hi Manigandan,

By default, SAP PI won't support .xslx file. You have to use some custom module or java mapping with excel api to read and then transform for target structure
