Lumira 1.17 with Explorer

Hi All,

Need help.

I am trying to publish a dataset on BO Explorer but it's taking a lot of time. I restarted my machine and then application but it's not working. I tried accessing the Explorer using launchpad and I am able to access that but not able to connect to Explorer using Lumira. Details are:

Lumira Version: 1.17

BO Explorer Version: 4.1 SP3

Dataset Type: SQL for Oracle

Number of records in table: 500

Please help.

Hi,

does your 4.x administrator see any process activity on the 'explorer indexing server' on the biplatform?

It seems there is some problem with the Explorer at our end. Tomcat server needs to be restarted. Administrator is doing that.

By the way, where does the data get stored in Explorer if I am exporting my SQL dataset there?

Hi,

Explorer does have an Indexing process, and it stores the generated file in a path on the server (much like the file repository stores)

hi,

an S-user for service market place is required . www.service.sap.com/support

it only confirms what's I've said above .  in XI3.1 it was under  Program Files/Business Objects/Data/Polestar
