Unable to generate to PDF_HTTP response 403 in Visual admin

Hi Support Team,

All of sudden, we are experiencing the error "Error when generating PDF file", we referred SAP Notes like 944221 and as per this

1. FP_TEST_00 --> OK

2. FP_PDF_TEST_00 --> OK

3.. FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE --> OK

4. FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE With Destination Service --> Error

SYSTEM ERROR :

com.adobe.ProcessingException:com.adobe.ProcessingException:Problem

accessing data from

Destination:dest:FP_ICF_DATA_VHP//sap/bc/fp/form/layout...

we checked below services in SICF and there in Active mode.

/default_host/sap/bc/fp

/default_host/sap/bc/fpads

In Visual Admin -->Services --->Destinations---->Http

-->FP_ICF_DATA_VHP--->Save and Test giving below

error.

ERROR during ping operation:Received HTTP response 403 in

FP_ICF_DATA_VHP.

Kindly do the needful as earliest.

Are you able to ping the ABAP host ?

In the Visual Admin the URL for FP_ICF_DATA_VHP should contain the ABAP server and port.

Check whether it is maintained correctly. If you are not able to ping the hostname mentioned in the URL then check if it helps with the IP address.

Hi Vijay,

Please check and update /etc/hosts entries on the Java system.

Restart the https service after the check and then test the results.
