Hello Anil,

Can you tell me what was the issue  with SOST settings. What corrective action you have taken.

Hi All,

I am getting the same issue. GRC AC 10.1.

Password is getting reset in the backend and even the message is being shown that "Password is reset and email has been sent".

But there is no email triggered to be sent to user. Nothing in SOST.

Ravi

Hi

Check the Class CL_GRAC_PWD_SELFSERVICE in transaction SE80. Screen shot attached for your reference.

Whether it is Green or Red.

If Red please check note 1578837.

check whether this helps or provide details of your configuration.

Thanks

Thanks Bhupinder. Do u mean the Incorrect password is red ?? I have this as below

GRC System is on higher version than the note . The note you have given  validity is for GRFND_A  version V1000 only.

Hi

Thanks for screen shot seems setting for class is ok..

Can you once check table GRACPROVCONFIG in SE16. in this table there is field send password. where value should be 0 which means mail has to send.

Check and please confirm, else I'll tell more things for verification.

Thanks Bhupinder.  I have checked the table and the field send password is blank against the connector . but in the Global Provisioning settings ,it is set to 0 .

In System settings , there is no such field to activate ???

Hi Anil

In system settings, there is no such field to activate..

With above all the details including reply for other Guru's seems your settings as per SAP solutions are in place.

If possible please share complete steps you followed for your PSS configuration.

Thanks

Hi Anil,

Check if correct email id is maintained for that user in SU01? .

Else check the below note if it helps you.

Note 1668187 - UAM: In Password Self-Service Mail is not generated

Thanks

Hi Anil

I'm not on a 10.1 system so I doubt I am of much help. If i was troubleshooting the issue I would check the following (but suspect you would have already as you have other comms sending)

  1. SLG1 and SOST not showing anything. Possibly ST22 but doubt you will see anything
  2. System user and user receiving details has email address
  3. User sync was run
  4. Connector is enabled for PSS (suspect it will be if you are seeing the password reset in the child system)
  5. Data Sources in place (I assume the this is sorted otherwise user cannot choose password)
  6. All SICF services are activated properly
  7. Check SE61 message template to make sure no issues (supect if a problem you would not get that far)
  8. Permissions but I think it's the WF-BATCH that does the sending.

Basically, retrace all of your steps - link below are the steps I provided for 10.0 system (ignore the verification)

next bit I would look at is running ST05 trace across replicating so I can see the sequence. After that, it would be a break point and debug. Use the ST05 trace to help you identify where to place the break point (and get a developer to assist if necessary).

Because you are on 10.1 it may be a case of opening a message with SAP

Sorry I can't help much, it's why I went quiet on the thread

Cheers

Colleen
