ID Number Definition

Hi Fellows,

I am totally new with EM solution and I am supporting a retail customer with the definitions and implementation. The scenario is CrossDocking and the customer only use the SCM solution without ERP-ECC, so we have a standalone implementation for TM, EWM and Event Management.

All the events which will be created are for crossdocking process fullfilled by EWM and I haven't found a Business Process Type for EWM. My understanting for the traking ID number is based on Business Process Type, right? In this case, that there is no business process type for EWM, should I create a new one in order to define the tracking ID Numbering?

Hello Diogo,

currently there is no EWM-EM connection and Business Process Type available.

Only chance would be that you create the connction by yourself.

But this would require not only create a BPT but also coding for the connection to EM.

Hi Diogo,

U can create your own BPT by creating new functional mudules with the help of technical consultant to extract data from EWM.
