Hi Experts,

We have Solman system (solman 7.1) in one domain and ECC System (ECC6 Ehp7) Non-Ides in another Domain both exists in different landscape.

Is it possible to add our ECC system to Solman with different domains and generate stack for the ECC system.

Could you please let us know the procedure to generate the Stack, and provide us with any documents.

Regards,

Krishna.M

Hi Krishnan,

Export your system from central SLD on one domain and import into other SLD in solman's domain. Sync that sld with lmdb Of solman. Create product system and match all components and levels.

But this is not a good practice

Actually steps are quite simple.

Follow these scn docs

Hi Krishna,

Run TCODE - SLDCHECK and this will tell you where the problem is.

So, you can diagnose and get this fixed.

Hi Srivastava,

Thanks for the reply.. we have gone through the links, but those work for the systems which are in same landscape. In our situation we have both systems in different domain and landscape.. Plz suggest us how to move forward.

Hi,

I told you the export/import method that you can use. But using solman from a different landscape for stack generation is not a good option.

Hi,

Yes, you can add ECC system  to Solman and generate the stack file.Assign Solman public IP address to ECC system.
