SFTP Dynamic Filename Configuration Issue

Former Member

Hi Experts,

I am using SFTP adapter which is provided by SAP as a add-ons, and I have configured FTP to SFTP (Without IR). I have done all the nessary setups in ASMA properties as well , also I have maintained the filename as " * "  in channel adapter parameters. but its writing file in receiver side as *.<timestamp>. as default "localejbs/CallSapAdapter" module is configured, Is it required to maintain any extra Modules , if any please suggest me .

Thanks

Raja

Hi Rajavadivel

Hi Javi,

Thanks for your reply . .

The configuration I have tried in ASMA , instead of orginal file name, it is updating as FileName.<timestamp>.txt in receiver side. but I can see  orginal filename in DynamicConfiguration .

Hi

To add a timestamp you don't need asma, you have an option in the receiver side, under "processing" tab

If you want a different timestamp that standard provided you can change it during mapping and set the name in an UDF.

Which are your requierements? Send screenshots to clarify, please.

To be sure the filename generated, check the file at the target system

Kind regards

Try this. DEactivate ASMA

In processing tab check "Add timestamp to filename" and test

Hi,

Can you please check if this solves your issue?

if you are in dual stack check the file name in dynamic header in sxmb_moni.

Hi Muniyappan,

I have checked moni , In dynamic header it is picking the approriate filename as i expected, but its processing the data with name which i have configured in FileName filed in adapter. if  i would given "*" it is updating FileName as *.<timestamp>.
