Seeburger AS2 issue after PI Upgrade to 7.31

Hi,

After we upgrade the PI from 7.11 to 7.31, we have the following error when we test the Outbound AS2 scenarios.

Message could not be forwarded to the JCA adapter. Reason: Fatal exception: javax.resources.ResourceException:

com/seeburger/uri/dt/master/schema/ReportCategoryType : cannot initialize class because prior initialization attempt failed,

com/seeburger/uri/dt/master/schema/ReportCategoryType : cannot initialize calss because prior initialization attempt failed

Is this issue resolved?

Do let me know what is the steps followed to resolve the issue as iam facing same issue with AS2 adapter.

Hi all,

it is important to know the exact SAP PI and SEEBURGER version you are using in this case.

E.g. for PI 7.3 and 7.31 the issue mentioned in or should be resolved from following versions on:

- release 20140926092234.2.2.2.000 (which is currently the most current version according to SAP Note 890721 - SEEBURGER SAP-XI Adapter:SP Correlation , newer hotfixes are available via SEEBURGER Support)

- release 20141006112146.2.1.7 (which is currently the most current 2.1.x version according to SAP Note 890721 - SEEBURGER SAP-XI Adapter:SP Correlation )

- release 20140718143016.2.1.6 (outdated in the meanwhile, see 2.1.7 or 2.2.2 instead)

- hotfix 20140514124204.2.2.1.005 (outdated in the meanwhile, see 2.2.2 instead)

- hotfix 20140514170357.2.1.5 (outdated in the meanwhile, see 2.1.7 or 2.2.2 instead)

For PI 7.4 it would be from following versions on:

- release 20140926092234.2.2.2.000 (which is currently the most current version according to SAP Note 890721 - SEEBURGER SAP-XI Adapter:SP Correlation , newer hotfixes are available via SEEBURGER Support)

- hotfix 20140514124204.2.2.1.005 (outdated in the meanwhile, see 2.2.2 instead)

Most current hotfixes are available via SEEBURGER Support, as mentioned in SAP Note 890721 - SEEBURGER SAP-XI Adapter:SP Correlation .

What is the SP and patch level of your PI 7.31 system? Also, what is the version of your Seeburger installation, and was it upgraded as well?

You can refer to 's guide for upgrading Seeburger , as well as check OSS note 890721 for the compatibility matrix.

Hi Eng Swee,

We are in PI7.31 SP11 and Seeburger in 2.1.5

We have SAP to confirm the our existing Seeburger version is supported with 7.31

we have faced same issue once, and the J2EE engine restart solved the issue. May be you can try that.

We have restarted the J2EE engine. But we get different error now.
