Delivery created earlier than material availability date

Hello All.

we have one case in production where I need help .

Sales order material availability date/Transportation planning date=19.6.14.

The delivery creation date for the above sales order=13.6.14. How this is possible. How can the delivery be created before material availability date ?

Hi,

Though the delivery date cannot be prior to your material availability date, there is an option to enter future date (might be after 19.06.14 in your case) in the selection date during your delivery creation.

Also please be noted that the system might allow us to create only the delivery with the future date, but further processing of the delivery will not be possible.

Please check and confirm.

It should not be possible.

Did you use a standard transaction to do this? Check field LIKP-TCODE to see how the delivery was created.

I checked and LIKP-TCODE is coming as blank ?

Suggests it was created through a batch job; do you know what batch job is creating it? If so, check the program behind creating the delivery via sm36 / sm37.

The information provided by Raj K is correct as well (although you should then get VL01n in the LIKP-TCODE field).
