Messages are displyed in AE but not in IE

Hello All,

We are implementing the SAP PI interfaces for our new project.

And while testing we are facing the veered  bhaviour of SAP PI functionality.

while testing we can't see all the messages in SXI_MONITOR.

For example Inbound interfaces JMS to IDoc,

I can see 10 successfull messages in adapter engine monitoring and also in ECC WE02 I can see 10 Idocs.

But in SXI_MONITOR I can see only 2 messages.

There is one to one scenario for one JMS message from queue we are generating one Idoc using XSLT mapping.

So can anybody help me to resolve this or point out if any setting is missing from basis side.

hi Anant,

Try to search message in MONI with message ID that you can get from AE and see if they appear or not. Then check the archive settings. May be it helps.

Hi Anant

May be the time frame that you are setting in the filter or IE is not in range of time that the message flowed.

1. Check in rwb-->IE-->message overview. Check if the count shows same as IE or not.

2. Get the messaged ID's from the AE and search in IE. See if you can find it.

3. I hope you are not using ICO's . As messages for ICO's cannot be found in IE

Please take the message from AE and search them in IE, you can know what happens to them in IE.

Are the messages generated in the same day?, may be there is a background process that remove/store the old messages.
