Access Request - Simplified returns exceptionForbidden

Hi experts,

We have just upgraded our GRC AC 10.0 system to version 10.1 SP5. We followed upgrade guide provided by SAP. BC sets for Simplified access request were successfully activated. Customizing was done and /sap/bc/ui5_ui5 service was activated. But when we test service /sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/GRAC_AR webpage message exceptionForbidden is displayed. Test was done on IE9 and also on Google Chrome.

Has anyone else come across this issue?

Thank you both. Yours replies directed me to the right path. Activation of /sap/bc/grc/grac node solved our issue.

Try to activate this service GRC_ACCESSREQUEST_APPROVE_SRV.

it shouldn't be browser related

look in SICF to see if there are any parent nodes or NWBC specific ones to activate

does the 503 error mention which item is forbidden?
