Error Converting Units in forecast release

Hi Experts,

I have created an planning area in Demand Planning with UOM Each (EA). In SNP, I have used standard planning area 9ASNP02. It has UOM Piece(PC). I have maintained alternate UOM EA and Base UOM PC while mentioning location product in /SAPAPO/MAT1.

But when I release forecast using T-code /N/SAPAPO/MC90, It throws error ' error converting units.

Hi Hemant,

Are you using the 9AMATNR and 9ALOCNO as CVC characteristic ?

I guess system will read the product master only when standard product infoobject we will use in DP.

The similasr problem we have faced while converting the UOM in the planning book if we are not using standard info-object for the product.

Please check.
