For some reason sapinstGUI was interrupted during install.
A restart doesn't show "continue the old" option.
In the /tmp dir logs showing up indicating that tables needs to be imported:
grep "-" import_state.properties
SAPSLEXC=-
SAPSSEXC_1=-
SAPSSEXC_2=-
SAPSSEXC_4=-
SAPSSEXC_5=-
SAPSSEXC_6=-
grep -v ok SAPSLEXC.TSK

How can the sapinst import be continued?
It should of course.

Hi guys,
thanks for trying to help. But the basics (each certifed consultant should know about) won't help here. It's due to a bug in sapinst that the open taks are not processed any longer I guess.
Maybe fiddling with keydb.xml would help, but that's not straightforward to understand where to manipulate a certain keyword to repeat a step.
The Step State Editor doesn't work either here, because for sapinst Installation is already finished.
Hi,
Share SAPSLEXC.log file. Rename SAPSLEXC.TSK and SAPSLEXC.log to old files and restart installation.
Regards
Yogesh

How can this help sapinst to continue?
A task file will be created during export and the log file is constantly updated during the import process AFAIK.
sapinst needs to continue at the point the error occured, but it won't because it thinks it has completed all necessary steps for the ongoing task of the system copy, which is definetely wrong.
