PR not tranfer to SRM system

Hi,

While transferring a PR from ECC I am getting a error " Item type 'Service' not allowed for this Item" and 'No functional item exists under item 001'. We are on classic scenario with SRM 7.0 EHP2  SAP PI 7.0 with ECC EHP4.

In one thread Ivy ask to check that the below XML tag is available in the Message: Yes, it available in my case.

<HierarchyRelationship>

<ParentItemID>

</ParentItemID>

<TypeCode>007

</TypeCode>

</HierarchyRelationship>

I debugged and see the 'No functional item exists under item 0001' error occurs due to the maintaince in /SAPPSSRM/V_CTRL view has Control Key '0001' with statistical Item  checked.??? What is the use of this table and why the error occurs.

Can u breifly give me the information.

Looks like there is still no note or fix to this issue.

Hi ,

I think you need configuration in the for service items in the maintenance view mentioned by you above.

Maintenance View : /SAPPSSRM/V_CTRL

Hi,

Kindly check the attached screen shot, which has the contains of the table.

In my scnerio, it is picking up the first one.(001), but it is of product type 01 wher i am sending the serive item.

i dont understand how the standard pick this information.

Hi,

(1) It seems that it is part of view cluster SM34 -> /SAPPSSRM/VC_HT.

The error "No functional item exists under item 001" comes if outline item is created but it does not have a any material/service item under it.

If you user template HIER_SE for EXTR this error should get solved. Do below config using SM34 -> /SAPPSSRM/VC_HT. After that, tun report /SAPSRM/PDO_META_INVALID_CONF.

(2) I am not sure about another issue "'External Source of Supply" tab.

Whether your issue is solved?.If not have a look into the note 1608510 - PR not transfered to SRM system when created from PS. It has to be apply in ECC.

I faced the same issue.

Anyway I just checked the note which you suggested, seems not yet released to the customer.

How the PR was created? Was it created from PS?
If yes, I'm afraid you need to open an SAP incident with MM-SRV, 'cause a pilot note is needed.

Hi Wendy,

The PR is created by different ways in our system.

1. MRP Run

2. Planned order

3. using IW31

The Problems here are

1. PR are transfered to SRM  successfully and  some PR are stucked in SRM with above error.

2. Some PR are not transferred, i.e No XML generated in ECC and the PR doesn't have the tab 'External Source of Supply' .

Note: We have done all the customization for the same.

Kindly help me on this issue. this is open for long time.

Sorry but I have to suggest you again to open an SAP incident to MM-SRV-ES component, as you need to implement a note. The note is pilot released, hence I could not do much here. You need to open the incident to SAP and ask them to provide you with this note.

As i mentioned eralier,

1. The XMl has this information,

Still any other information needed in the XML to Process..???

2. we have different case to create PR, i try to find the common in those PR to transfer, but in all case some PR are send and some are not..

In which table the PR 'External Source of Supply' field is set for those PR which is send..?
