JSPM Error in SAP NW 7.31 AS Java System

Hi,

Getting error while starting JSPM in as java nw 7.31 "An error has occurred during the execution of the JSPM_MAIN phase"

The error screen describes as follows

        An error has occurred during the execution of the JSPM_MAIN phase.

Cannot initialize application data. Error occurred while trying to get the SAPLOCALHOST parameter value from the instance number: 0 on host: MESDEV01 via SAPCONTROL the web service API. See SAP Note 1401712 for further information. java.rmi.RemoteException: Service call exception; nested exception is: com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.exceptions.InvalidResponseCodeException: Invalid Response Code: (401) Unauthorized. The requested URL was:"http://MESDEV01:50013" com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.exceptions.InvalidResponseCodeException: Invalid Response Code: (401) Unauthorized. The requested URL was:"http://MESDEV01:50013"

Use the information provided to troubleshoot the problem. An SAP Note may provide a solution to this problem. For Troubleshooting upgraded the kernel but no use.

Hi,

Problem solved by removing parameter "service/protectedwebmethods =
SDEFAULT" from default profile and restarted the server.

JSPM Works fine now.
