HR renewal for EHP6

Hi

I am following note 1691232 for activating HR renewal 1.0 in ECC6 -EHP6 system.

I have all the listed components in my EPS/in.

But I need XML file to implement NWUIEXT_100.

I was using MOPZ to download it but was unable to find NWUIEXT_100 addon in ths list

How can i get this going

I think you are looking for UI Add-On for SAP NetWeaver. please check below notes for all details. (NWUIEXT_100 is NetWeaver UI Extension)

1759682 - UI Add-On for SAP NetWeaver: Central Note

and as per note 1666368 - you can use below procedure for generating MOPZ XML file.

• Procedure for SAP NetWeaver 7.00 Enhancement Package 02 and higher
  • In the "Select Add-Ons" section of transaction MOPZ, select the product version "UI add-on 1.0 for SAP NetWeaver".

Hi

When i am choosing UI add on for NW 7.03

I get this error and i am not able to get through this

We are on ECC6-EHP6 system with EA-HR 606 component and Solman 7.1 system.

Hi Tushar,

I don't know why you are getting this since import conditions do not include them, but your system is asking you to import ACL - EA-APPL===606.

In fact, on SMP, there are only two ACLs avaiable for EA-APPL. ACLs are used in enhancing the prerequisites to allow new system statuses as the basis for the import. They contains modified attributes for any package.

I would suggest you to try with an older version of UI add-on, SP07 for instance and continue in MOPZ and share the results.

And, if possible, ask SAP asap, why an ACL for EA-APPL is required for installing UI Add-on.

MAY BE it's this file that you need CSN0120061532_0083565.PAT.

Please check with SAP for more on this.

and sorry for the TYPO.

It's ACP not ACL

I am not able to find the .SAR for CSN0120061532_0083565.PAT on marketplace.

Hi Tushar,

Did you try selecting SP7 or 6 in place of 8 ?

Search for this using "EA-APPL===" in support packages and you will get the below screen.

Select 617, uncar and put it EPS/in and update in system using SPAM.

I am still not sure on this, whether this would work, still suggest you to check with SAP 1st.

I have opened an OSS message and would update system with EA-APPL===617.

First check on this with SAP then if they say for this ACP, then patch your system with it.

Hi Sudhanshu,

I have installed HR renewal in my system and am on EA-HR 607 and LSOFE

607 now when i go in SFW5 i do not see the required Business functions

extension

HCM_PAO_CI_1 - HCM, Personnel & Organization

  HCM_PAO_CI_2 - HCM, Personnel & Organization 2 ( for new functionality - "Processes")

  BC_SRV_STW_01 - Enable SAP Streamwork ABAP Integration 1 ( for Discussions functionality)

  BC_SRV_STW_02 - Enable SAP Streamwork ABAP Integration 2 ( for Discussions functionality)

  BC_SRV_STW_03 - Enable Social Media ABAP Integration 3 ( for Discussions functionality)

Is there anything else that is required to get these business function in the system.

You new delivered customisings are in client 000. Youa have to move this in your target client.
