SAP PI 7.1 EHP1 post installation issue

Former Member

Hello Experts,

I am new to SAP Basis.Currently I am facing a problem with PI 7.1EHP1.I have successfully installed the system without any issues. But the java part is not working properly.

The java start page is opening, but none of the listed applications are working.Ex-- when I am trying to open NWA it is throwing an error

"  Error:
"Application error occurred during the request processing."

Details: "The WebApplicationException log ID is [B8AC6F85018200570000000000001104]."

The same error I am getting for all applications like "Web dypro","user management","system information" etc.

Moreover when trying to open the portal, it is coming blank.

I have tried with dowgrading the kernel version from 721 to 720,but no luck.

Please help me to resolve this error.

Thanks and Regards,

Debaditya

HI

logs look clean. Can you try to change the browser and see if it works ? If not then please attach default_trace log as well. But first try different browser.

Hi Myank,

The issue seems to be resolved now.As per your suggestion I have tried with different browser. It worked for firefox 3.6.4.I got this from the below link.

[Solved] Netweaver Configuration Wizard error

As of now I have started the CTC configuration wizard.

But one more thing the portal(irj/portal) is still coming as blank.Any suggestion on tha same?

Hello Debaditya,

Please check if your Java is up and running from JCMON / SAP MMC ( If windows ).

Go for a reboot of the system and let us know the log you get in bootstrap.

Also, check the logs on your work folder.

Thanks,

Kalyan

Hi,

Did you check the below discussion

check the steven's reply

the problem was the SPNEGO Template = 0

To resolve the issue, open offlinecfgeditor

in edit mode, go to security/configurations/ticket

highlight the "template=spnego" key and delete it

Restart the system and it Work !!

Hi Harish,

Yes I have checked this thread before. There is no template=spnego  under security/configurations/ticket.

Also the thread is about NW 7.3 but for my case it is 7.1EHP1

Best Regards,

Debaditya
