Backup monitor in SAP HANA

Dear Experts,

I want to find out if there is a way we can monitor backup activity in SAP HANA from tcode DB02 or DBACOCKpit or any other tcode? Please let me know.

Hi Jun,

From dbacockpit for the version we have 740 SP 7 SAP BASIS we cannot monitor like we get to see in hana studio. Service specific views we cannot get to see like.

Only option would be diagnostics --> backup catalog and system information --> others --> backup catalog.

I can see at this point of time.

Or else check the trace files and capture the data progress from there.

You can check the diagnosis files from dbacockpit as well.

in DBACOCKPIT look under Diagnostics and then backup catalog.  I hope that helps.

Hi Jun,

It is possible to use DBACOCKPIT to monitor HANA backups. I think you need to upgrade SAP_BASIS SPs.
