Dear buddies

My question is as following:

When the article(material) description is changed in day time,

in the evening, this is backgroud job to create IDoc and transfer the IDoc.

Now the problem is the change of description doesn't create a IDoc at all.

Can anybody help me?

Hi,

Idoc is triggered for the filed changed is depend on the configuration in BD52.

Please go to BD52 tcode and give matmas as message type and check field

MAKTX is in the fields list .If it is in the fields list then idoc will create.

Thanks,

shyla

This can be checked with the help of change pointers.Since master data change in the material may be description triggers change documents that gets created in the backgrounf.

2 steps need to do

1.Activate Change pointers globallly(BD52)

2.Activate message type for the given idoc you want(BD50)

This will activate table BDCP and BDCPS thereby triggers the change idoc for the materail master.

Reward points if this helps.

Thanks

Hi,

Each field will be mapped in the IDOC you will need to put in a logic where in the changes should also be picked up in the IDOC.

ALso check the field mapping of the IDOC , Check if this is correct or not.

Thanks

Kamal
