FINBASIS 736 Installation

Hi Gurus,

OUR Production system FINBASIS 600 patch 23 now we need to installation of FINBASIS 736, we have done below steps......

(1) Download the FINBASIS 736 Installation (K-736AHINFINBASIS)

(2) Extract the Installation package and put it on Trans Directory

(3) Import the package

(4) Use SAINT T-code and select the Package name then click on Continue getting message " The Enhance Package installation must be configured with stack XML"

Please help to generate the stack.XML for this Installation.......

Have you got a Solution Manager system ? if yes then plug this system into the Solution Manager and call the Maintenance Optimizer to create a stack file.

HI, I have Solution Manager , there are 2 option coming for maintenance (ii) Enhancement package and stack, or we can calculate the package Automatic and manually, but not able to select the FINBASIS component, because of need to install only FINBASIS 736.

We have recently system upgrade from ECC 6.0 to EHP6 now FINBASIS is on 600 Patch 23.

but required FINBASIS 736, when we try to install via SAINT, Error Message getting " "The Enhance Package installation must be configured with stack XML"

So please help to generate the stack.xml via Solution manager selecting only FINBASIS Installation components.......

You can select the option "Calculate Package automatic " than it should show the latest finbasic

Hi Ashwani,

Can you goto LMDB can check for the entries for your system - are those done manually ? If yes, then correct it or better sync it with your SLD. Check the definition for this technical system and product system.

Also, check are those entries updated and have same levels as that of your ECC system.

These are the conditions that need to be met to get the XML from solman.

When you create a stack file for the EHP installation there in an option called "Select Stack-Dependent Files" and under ABAP you have the option FINBASIS.

Have you checked it ?

Hi Ashwani,

Stack.xml can be generated using solution manager system.

Use this stack.xml and SUM tool to update this FINBASIS.

Do not use SAINT to perform this update as it is not recommended.
