AutoreactionMethod for one of app server is not reflecting in RZ20

Dear Gurus,

We have registered one of our system with Solman for CCMS configuration Out 5 server 1 server is having a problem.
We are not able to see the Automatic reaction method assigned to the Problematic server.

Also in RZ21 "Agent for Remote SAP system" tab  the server is showing as "Remote System" in Responsible server tab.

The Agent did got registered we are getting the error. Error at connection set-up: ERROR_WEBSERVICE_RUNTIME_INIT No logical port 'SAPCCM4X.exists for

System is registered through the option using RZ21 > Technical Infrastructure > Config Central System > Create Remote monitoring Entry > ABAP

At the time of registration we got the below error.

The following step has been already performed.
1 Using the adopt Agent option in RZ21 but this option as well is not
working for us.
2 Deleting all the agent and re registering the system again still the
issue remains the same.

The system which i am registering is ECC6.0 with EHP6 and kernel 721_EXT_REL patch 100

As we did registration again now for the problematic server autoreaction method is now visible in RZ20

But it is not picking up the alert for the scenarios. Also found other 2 server is also giving error while connection test below is screen shot.

I checked the log file. Foundthe agent lock is not getting updated.

Hi Ravi,

Stop the agent, kill all agent processes,  clean and initialize the shared memory. Check saphostagent profile and connection logs. Now start the agent again.

Hi Ravi,

Remove this system from solman system and follow the below note:

1119735 - CCMS agents: Upgrade of monitored systems from 7.0 to 7.1

goto RZ21 ->Technical Infrastructure -> Configure Central System -> Create remote monitoring entry

Before that remove the system entry completely.

The starting stopping the agent on windows please let me know the procedure?

I know how to delete the agent from RZ21 will that will completely remove the system?

Can you please elaborate the steps for removing the system complety?

Hi Ravi,

Goto

C:\Program Files\SAP\hostctrl\work\

As <sapsid>adm

hostexecstart -stop

clean shared memory.

Remove from RZ21 and delete the RFCs.

hostexecstart -restart (as <sapsid>adm)

Create entry in RZ21.

Hi Divyanshu,

SAP had replied to stop and start the sapstartsrv process delete the agent in RZ21 and then again run the RZ21 and create the system.

Since this prod box i want few clarification before i proceed for

restarting the sapstartsrv process.

Could you please let us know the procedure to stop and start the

sapstartsrv process for windows.

Also we do not want to stop your sap which are running

Stopping sapstartsrv process will shutdown the sap instance running on

that host?

I have already told you how to start it on your system. When you will do it sapstartsrv will also be restarted.

Hi All,

Thanks for the Help the issue is resolved by.

Note: 1919875 - Error "SoapFaultCode:5 CCMS__RegisterCentralSystem failed:

215: the agent is restarting now, please resend your request later" in

RZ21

Following are the steps performed to resolve the issue.

1 Delete the agent in RZ21

2 Restart spastartsrv process using the below command.

The note suggest to restart the sapsatrtsrv services which can be accomplished by below command

sapcontrol -nr <NR> -function RestartService.

if you get the authorization error the use the below command.

sapcontrol -nr <NR> -function StopService -user <sid>adm <password>

3 Re-register the agent again from RZ21.

Note: Error should not occur while registration otherwise ccms agent will not work

Hi Ravi,

Goto RZ21, technical infrastructure and then to reorganize segment table.

There you can add missing logical port from the correct client.
