Transaction hangs for minutes sporadically !

Hello !

I get sporadically complaints from users, that a transaction takes mniutes to return with the first screen although it ran yesterday for <1000 ms !

It happens from time to time during working days !

Hello Kumar,

you should analyse response times in STAD or ST03 for the transaction which was hanging, to see, where exactly it spends time. You may check also SM50 during transaction is hanging, what the work process is executing.

Hi Kumar,

Please look at network response during such slow response.

Probability is that network bandwidth is choked ( either by huge data transfer ) which in turn affects SAP operations.
