Hours not updating in the WBS Element

Hi All,

Am facing an issue , Actually am giving the days and the duration in each activities assigned to the networks. But the total duration of the activities are not updating the WBS Element in the Dates Tab.

The client requirement is once they enter the days and the hours in the activities it should be updated in the WBS Element.

Find the screen shot for reference of activities and the WBS Element.

Kindly provide the solution.

Hi ,

Please change the scheduling method to Network determines dates with the scheduling type (Forwards/Backwards) as you wish to schedule the activities from the activity level on to the WBS level.

You can find this in Define Parameters for WBS Scheduling in IMG.

Hi

In configuration, go to WBS scheduling profile and under 'Scheduling' check 'Schedul. Method' whether it's blank, change it to WBS determines dates or to Network determines dates and enter the dates accordingly in WBS or NWA respectively and schedule your project.

Or

You can do it with project planning board also, Go to planning board >Settings->options -> Scheduling,here change the parameters and reschedule project and check dates.

Hi,

It seems that you have not done the scheduling process on project so firstly run the scheduling on Project by go to Edit-Dates-Schedule (Ctrl + F9). Please let me know which type of scheduling you are performing to the project whether it is Forward or Backward?
