How to download fields form SAP PS to MS Project with OPENPS 4.04.2

Dear Experts,

How can I download the some of the fields other than system transferred from SAP PS to MS project. The fields are;

WBS Element Level

Fields in PS_______technical name in PS ________Fields in Microsoft Project

RESPONSIBLE_NO_(PRPS-VERNR)____________???

COMP_CODE______(PRPS-PBUKR)____________???

BUS_AREA________(PRPS-PGSBR)____________???

PROFIT_CTR______(PRPS-PRCTR)____________???

RESPSBL_CCTR___(PRPS-FKSTL)_____________???

REQUEST_CCTR___(PRPS-AKSTL)_____________???

Activity Level

Field in PS_____________________________Field in Microsoft Project

PM Order assigned__(CAUFVD-AUFNR)______???

In screen shot at activity level in assignment tab sub network exists

PM order assigned to Network activity in table-field CAUFVD-AUFNR

Please let me know how can we transferred/download above mentioned WBS Element and Activity fields into MS Project via OPENPS interface.

What setting required how can we map fields between SAP PS and MS Project???

Hi Usman,

I am not sure but have you checked in Settings->Map user Fields option. Check if the required fields are available there.

As I think, field mapping b/w MSP and SAP PS is limited via OPENPS4MSP due to SAP R/3 restrictions.

Hi Shishir,

User Fields are only those which you will define in WBS Element and Activity "User Field" tab page. I can easily manage to download user fields only.

Example are:

below is the Project object user fields in SAP PS

Further MS Project Fields mapping and values after download to MS Project.

My issue is still there, How can we download the SAP PS fields (details mentioned in above post) for downloading

Hi Shishir,

I have gone through the link you have mentioned but as you see there is no fields mapping for fields I have mentioned as above i.e.

I did not find field mapping in Microsoft Project. So please my question is still not answered please suggest for possible solution???

For further mapping, I suggest you to raise a oss note to SAP.
