Configure SPNEGO [keytab]

Hi,

While configuring the SPNEGO [Add new realm by principal], getting the below error

"Error during generation of encryption key with type AES256-CTS-HMAC-SHA1-96: Illegal key size. Check the crypto policy file in use and also SAP Note 1240081"

we are on NW 7.4.

Please advice.

Hi Sam,

Please refer to the SAP Note 1240081 and install the JCE Jurisdiction Policy files. Try the configuration again.

Dear Sam,

In which folder did you install the JCE? Is it the "Unlimited" one?

You should install it under the JVM in DIR_EXE_ROOT. Then restart your AS Java.

AS JAVA or AS ABAP? I assume AS JAVA. Have you configured the SAP Cryptographic Library? If you have, you probably have to update it. You may consider upgrading to CommonCryptoLib 8 while you are at it. Is your query related to the SAP Single Sign-On product? If not, it doesn't belong in this space.

Thanks for the reply, yes ist JAVA, I  did and update for the SAP srypto library, still athe same error. Yes i am grtting thos errror while configuring sso in the contest of SAP Single-sign-on product..
