HUM with SUM in sap WM

Hi Friends,

while configuring HUM in SAP WM,is it necessarily to assign both storage locations to WH no.

Could anyone please explain basic configurations steps for HUM and SUM in sap wm.

Hi Sridhar,

The basic difference  in between HUM & SUM is

By using SUM you optimize your warehouse space whereas by Using HUM along with your warehouse space you are optimizing your shipment also.SUM is at storage type level and HUM is at Storage Location level. Please refer the earlier SCN thread and input provided by member on the topic

Regard your another query : yes, both actual storage location and partner storage location should be WM managed
