Standard Workflow template to maintain Contact Person in MDG-S

Hi Experts,

Contact person is not part of BP data model and we have a requirement to maintain contact person. We can do this in two ways.

1. Call standard workflow to maintain contact person as one of the task

2. Extend BP data model.

We are leaning towards the first option to lower the risk. I looked at the standard workflow templates for the contact person and I could not find the correct one. Has anyone activated this standard workflow and if yes, Please let me know the workflow template number.

Hi Ramesh,

you should consider updating your MDG version. The contact person is part of MDG by using the BP relationships. The first release of this functionality has been MDG 6.1.

We are in MDG 6.1 and our objective is to move forward with option 1. What do we have to do to make this happen? Do we have to implement any OSS note to get this standard workflow ?

Hi Ramesh,

there is no specific workflow template needed. The user interface provides as list called "Relationships". You can use this list to create the contact person.
